For the past 32 years this home has been a gem, a pillar and sanctuary for those living inside it, in our tranquil town Jacobsbaai. This antique treasure is beautifully preserved and spotless as if time stood still. Built entirely from locally sourced natural authentic stone, with rich Oregon pine cupboards and beams, thick sleeper doors, old ship windows with handmade leadwork panes.

Copper portholes, original ship lanterns as lights, Porcelain and brass switches and chain toilets. This gives every room a character you simply can’t recreate.

Main House Ground Floor:

Step into this Home unlike any other!

*Through the front gate is a beautiful courtyard with water features and a small dining area.

*As you walk through the front door, you will be met with an open lounge, stunning kitchen, Tv/entertainment room, with its own pizza oven, fridges and gas plate, all joined with a huge fireplace.

*The kitchen comes with a 5-plate gas stove, fridge, dual sink and kitchen server island, with bar stools to enjoy breakfasts. Further into the kitchen is the hidden scullery behind saloon style doors with leadwork panes. The scullery has ample cupboards, dishwasher and washing machine connections along with a tumble dryer and a door to the staff room.

*Facing the sea there is a big braai patio with a beautiful built-in table in the shape of a boat and a counter with bar chairs for lekker get together “kuiers” and gorgeous 180° view of the Atlantic Ocean and Kwaaibaai with the famous splash rock and out of this world sunsets.

*To the left of the lounge is the first ground floor bedroom with an Oregon wardrobe, its own en-suit and sea view patio.

*To the right of the front door is the second ground floor bedroom, with a bathroom across the hall, built in Oregon wardrobes and its own entrance from outside with a north facing sea view from its own patio and greenbelt next to it. The bathroom consists of a chain toilet, basin and alcove shower.

*In the hallway is the cellar room with ceramic bottle holders for keeping you wine collection cool and also hosts the solar inverter and batteries with a cupboard for other amenities.

Upstairs:

*Going up the beautiful hand carved staircase in the living/tv room, there is the third and largest bedroom in the house. The room is fitted with Oregon built-in cupboards, small kitchenette, en-suit and balcony with a built-in braai with also 180° see view. An attic staircase gives the room its own private outdoor entrance that can also be used as a flatlet separate from the house. The full en-suit consists of a toilet, basin, slipper bath and an alcove shower.

*The lounge hosts the other staircase in the house that leads to the Main bedroom, with Oregon built-in Wardrobes, full en-suit and balcony with 180° sea view of the Atlantic Ocean and Kwaaibaai to enjoy early morning coffee. Lying on the bed you also have a view to the sea through the skylight and low window.

Ground Floor Flat:

*The 2 room flat has two doors facing the sea with its own outside sea view entertainment area.

*On the right side of the flatlet is a bedroom, with its own en-suit and a doorway connecting it to the left side of the flatlet with a kitchenet and small lounge, currently used as the second bedroom in the flat or 6th bedroom.

The staff room also comprises out of a room with a shower and toilet and can also count as a 7th bedroom
